I’m Charlie, and for the past 20-plus years, I’ve been deeply involved in the worlds of architecture, art, and illustration. My creations have not only made their way onto eye-catching book covers but also filled the pages of those books with captivating visuals. I’ve had the privilege to work with leading publishing companies, design identities for big-name companies as well as charitable organizations, team up with renowned interior designers and architects, and even play a role in pushing forward advancements in artificial intelligence by promoting the use of GPU processing early on.
I’ve contributed to developing simpler ways to create lifelike lighting in images, like HDR, which you now see on TVs and in movies. Plus, through image forensics, I made a groundbreaking discovery by finding the first-ever photograph that included people. But my life isn’t all about professional accomplishments. At heart, I’m a devoted dad, a supportive husband to an amazing wife, and a caretaker to two lively cats. These roles fill my life with joy and color.
