A special thank you to all the mothers and those who have wanted children. You make the world turn around and you endure unimaginable difficulties. As a parent of two little children, I can relate to both the joy and hardships parents and being a parent may bring.
Amazon Content Review is Useless
Someone, somewhere is laughing at me. They’re saying to themselves, “see, this is what he deserves for choosing to publish his coloring books with Amazon KDP.” Yes, it’s an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound somehow involving a flintlock musket. It’s a Darwin Award without the award. I get it, so go ahead and be self-righteously snarky. Hindsight is 20/20. But just like Ishmael, I’m about to go down with this ship in a blaze of glory.

These days I’m still trying to figure out search engine optimization techniques and how they have evolved over the course of 20 years. I started out long ago hand-coding websites, eventually moving over to CMS or Content Management Systems such as WordPress simply because it was becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the changing standards.å

AI Book Writing & Copyrights
Publishing reporter Jane Friedman recently encountered an incident of her own regarding both Amazon and GoodReads along with a series of books clearly pretending to be her with her name attached to a series of AI-generated books. While we might have some differences of opinion, I think we all agree upon one thing: Amazon’s handling of impersonators, copyrights, and theft is questionable.

I’ve been digging around and talking with other authors about the Copyright issues that’s happening with Amazon. I just discovered at least 1,000 more unauthorized books by Personalized JoyCraft on the site. The best part? Other authors have been reporting this all along and Amazon has done nothing to stop it. Instead, they’re profiting from it.
